CBSE SECTION OF AL NOOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CELEBRATES ITS 17^TH ANNUAL DAY

The evening of Saturday,15^th January 2011 marked the 17^th Annual Day Celebration of  CBSE section of the Al Noor International School.

H.E. Mr.Mohan Kumar ,the honorable  Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain graced the occasion as the chief guest .The cultural extravaganza was witnessed by The School Chairman Mr. Ali Hassan, Principal Mr. Hassan Al Mehri, Director, Mr. Mohammed Mashood, Head Teachers of various sections, parents and  prominent members of the society. It was a fusion of symphony, images, loads of visual arts and mesmerizing performances by the students.

The enthralling performance of the students in the Arabic dance and Ballet were greatly appreciated by one and all. The tiny tots of Kindergarten amused the audience with their action songs. The most breath taking and the highlight of the evening was ‘The Fussion Fiesta’ presented by the students of grades I and II. The surprise item was an impromptu sketch of Mahatma Gandhi by Binscal Pascal  of grade 7 which was applauded by one and all. The guests were truly amazed by the novelty of the announcement.

Students who had excelled in various curricular and extra curricular activities received prizes.10 students from grades 1 to 11 were awarded trophies for academic excellence. 84 prizes for talent competitions were distributed and 21 students received prizes for winning the CBSE Sports Cluster meet. In his address to the students, H.E. Mr. Mohan Kumar congratulated them on their achievements.
