21STANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

The British Middle Section of Al Noor International School celebrated its 21st Annual Day on 23rd April, a day much awaited by most students. The function was graced by the presence of Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Harban, Director of Student Services, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain. This was an opportunity for the parents to admire their children’s talents and to applaud the top academic performers in each standard.

The Academic Excellence awards were handed to the following first five toppers from grade 5 to 7 for the academic year 2012-2013,who were the shining stars of this eventful night

69 students received prizes for their achievements in the Annual Talent Competition.

This occasion was attended by the School Chairman Mr. Ali Hassan, the Principal Mr. Rashid Mandi, the Director Mr. Mohammed Mashood, the officials from the Ministry of Education, the Head Teachers of the various sections, Co-ordinators and teachers. The hall was filled to capacity with enthusiastic parents who came to support the 350 participants in the show.

A colourful cultural programme which revolved around the theme “Unity in Diversity” was put up by the students. The guests were welcomed by the mesmerizing welcome dance presented by the students. The programme also included a song by the students “Children need a helping hand”, which really made the audience spell bound in the hall. The highlight of the evening was a group dance based on the theme of the night “Unity in Diversity”. The programme was concluded by the lively performance by the students who paid tribute to the success of the achievers, the new generation of Bahrain.

To add to the lively evening, the scintillating band kept the feet of the audience tapping from start to finish.
